The Body Of Christ

A question was asked at church today
What body part we could be
To use to further God's Kingdom
And proclaim His victory

At first thought I'd be the feet
And travel the ends of the earth
To find the lost and helpless souls
And show them what they are worth

But then upon reflection
The hands, a better choice
To do the work of the Lord
And raise them in constant rejoice

No, I think I will be the mouth
And tell of God's saving grace
And how Jesus rose from the dead
In heaven purchased us a place

So many choices, so much to do
I gave this serious thought
But the greatest command of all is love
So I think I will be the heart.
