Trip to Pigeon Forge, TN

Last weekend my husband and I made a quick trip to Pigeon Forge, Tn.  Since it was just the two of us, we tuned the XM radio to the LOVE station  and sang love song out loud to each other.  It reminded me of the scene in the movie The Heartbreak Kid.  Then we drove down the interstate taking goofy pictures of ourselves.

Note to self: never leave on a workday.  It will follow him!!

Hey if WE didn't love us who would?  Plus it passes the time away!!

Usually we camp, but since this was a quick trip we stayed at The Willow Brook Lodge.  It was already decked out for Christmas.

At first I thought I was seeing things.  This building was built upside down.

While we were there we visited the new TITANIC museum.  A definite must see!

We also toured Dollywood.  Randy and I enjoyed this place so much we bought season passes and plan on taking our RV there several times next spring and summer.

Dolly's tour bus.  Similar to our RV except ours is a fifth wheel and white and cost 700,000 dollars less, okay its really NOTHING like our but hey we can dream, right?

And of course all of these amazing attractions are nestled right in the middle of the Great Smoky Mountains.  Such a beautiful part of the country.
