What a great day yesterday ended up being. I had to go to the Dr. in Chapel Hill and was dreading the drive, so I asked my sister Kim to join me. We ended up going to The Cheesecake Factory for lunch, which is a real treat because we don't have one here and then we had enough time to visit my really good friend Miss Elli. Miss Elli used to be my neighbor but had to move to an Independant living facility because of health problems. I used sit at her house and listen to her tell stories for hours about her homeland, which happens to be Germany. Oh how I love that woman. I also got to take my new car on an extended drive to check out how it handles on the highway. What a great ride. What I did not know was how cool the Onstar turn by turn navigation was. I love that new feature.
